XRM
Zeiss Xradia 520 Versa 3D X-ray Microscope (XRM)
Zeiss Xradia 520 Versa 3D X-ray Microscope (XRM)

The Zeiss Xradia 520 Versa 3D X-ray Microscope (XRM) is a powerful, non-destructive imaging tool that uses X-rays to create detailed 3D models of internal structures, offering submicron resolution for samples from tiny biological specimens to larger industrial parts, allowing researchers to virtually "slice" objects, analyze pores, track changes over time (4D), and correlate defects with mechanical performance in materials science, geology, and life sciences. Its key feature, Resolution at a Distance (RaaD), uses a unique two-stage magnification to maintain high resolution even with large samples or in situ setups.
PPMS
Quantum Design Dynacool 9T Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS)
Quantum Design Dynacool 9T Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS)

The Quantum Design PPMS DynaCool is a versatile, cryogen-free system that precisely measures various physical properties (electrical, thermal, magnetic) of materials (powders, thin films, crystals) over wide ranges of temperature (1.8 K to 400 K, or lower with options) and magnetic fields (up to 14 T), enabling automated studies of quantum materials, superconductivity, magnetism, and more through add-on options like resistance, heat capacity, and magnetometry.
Impact Tester
Instron 450MPX Motorized Pendulum Impact Test System
Instron 450MPX Motorized Pendulum Impact Test System

The Instron 450MPX Motorized Pendulum Impact System is a robust machine for high-volume, automated testing of materials (like metals) to determine their toughness and durability under sudden impact, following standards like Charpy and Izod, by measuring the energy a notched specimen absorbs when struck by a swinging hammer. Its motorized lift and automatic return features, combined with an integrated safety enclosure and user-friendly software, make it efficient, safe, and easy for labs to get repeatable results for quality control.
Meltio M600
Impac Systems Meltio M600 Industrial Metal 3D Printer
Impac Systems Meltio M600 Industrial Metal 3D Printer

The Meltio M600 is an industrial metal 3D printer that uses Wire-Laser Metal Deposition (LMD), featuring blue lasers and wire feedstock (like welding wire) to create high-density, fully dense metal parts, ideal for machine shops to repair, add features to, or create new parts, enabling on-demand production with materials like steel, titanium, copper, and aluminum in a compact, integrated system for high efficiency and cost savings.
EDM
Kent USA WSi-200 Wire Cut Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM)
Kent USA WSi-200 Wire Cut Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM)

The Kent USA WSi-200 Wire Cut EDM is a high-precision, submerged Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) tool that uses a thin, electrically charged wire to cut complex shapes and intricate details into electrically conductive materials, ideal for aerospace, medical, and mold-making parts, offering extreme accuracy, minimal noise, and superior taper cutting with its stable, submerged design and advanced auto-threading.
Waterjet
OMAX ProtoMAX Waterjet
OMAX ProtoMAX Waterjet

The ProtoMAX Waterjet-OMAX is a compact, personal abrasive waterjet system that cuts virtually any material (metal, plastic, glass, wood, stone) up to about 1 inch thick using a high-pressure, garnet-infused water stream, ideal for prototyping, makerspaces, schools, and small businesses due to its ease of use, compact size, and ability to perform intricate, heat-free cuts on a 12x12 inch cutting area.
