Billy Roessler

Dr. Roessler currently serves as the Senior Director of Graduate Studies at the University of North Texas. Dr. Roessler is responsible for directing and overseeing the day-to-day administrative activities for the Toulouse Graduate School unit within the Division of Research and Innovation. He is responsible for overseeing staff work and supervision, developing and updating standard operating procedures, and functioning as a liaison between academic units and the graduate student unit.  Areas of supervision include Graduation, Degree Plan/Milestone processing, Registration Petitions, Registration, 99 Hour Rule, Academic Standing appeals, and Grad Track.  In addition to his administrative duties, Dr. Roessler is also involved in the classroom as an adjunct instructor.

 Dr. Roessler has been in the Toulouse Graduate School since 2016 and has 30 years of experience in higher education, with over 16 years at UNT.  He has earned his graduate academic certificate, doctorate, master’s, and undergraduate degrees all at UNT.
