Welcome to UNT's Center for Integrated Intelligent Mobility Systems (CIIMS)

The North Texas region, as the largest inland port in the U.S., is a logistics powerhouse, moving over 900 million tons of freight valued at $1.1 trillion annually and employing more than 450,000 workers. With the rise of autonomous vehicles and aerial drone technologies, the future of mobility is here, but integrated systems to solve complex supply chain challenges are still in development. By 2035, the U.S. will need 280,000 air mobility experts and 2 million new manufacturing jobs to meet growing demands.
