Compliance FAQs

Question: What is IRB approval, and do I need it for my study?
Answer: If your project involves human subjects, IRB approval is required before beginning any data collection. Not sure? Contact us.

Question: Are my research staff required to complete RCR training?
Answer: Yes—anyone involved in human, animal, or biomedical studies must complete RCR and relevant compliance training before beginning their role.

Question: How do I report a potential conflict of interest?
Answer: Submit a disclosure through the [UNT compliance portal] or contact the compliance office for guidance.
