UNT research staff are invited to attend the Departmental Research Administration Workshop hosted by National Council of University Research Administrators.   This is a 3 day in-person workshop.  Attendance at each day's session is mandatory.    Day One: Monday, October 28, 8am-4pm Day Two: Tuesday, October 29, 8am-4pm Day Three: Wednesday, October 30, 8am-12pm   Workshop Objectives: Understand the role of the departmental research administrator and their interactions with other offices/departments. Implement best practices for applying the Office of Management and Budget 2 CFR 200, new UG updates, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Effectively administer sponsored awards throughout the award lifecycle Employ pre-award practices which ensure effective and streamlined post-award management Identify potential terms, regulations, and other concerns that may impact life-of-the-award management Registration first-come first-served and is limited to 60 participants.
