In this National Institutes of Health (NIH) information session, the presenters will: Disseminate information about NIH Develop and facilitate a community of researchers seeking NIH funding Facilitate workshop attendees' understanding of NIH as a funding institute Explain strategies for identifying NIH funding opportunities Suggest NIH grantsmanship considerations Share personal stories as well as tips and tricks for faculty to consider Presenters: Dr. Amie Lund, Associate Professor of Biological Sciences and Director of the Advanced Environmental Research Institute Dr. Julia Heck, Professor of Epidemiology and Associate Dean for Research in the College of Health and Public Service   Audience:  Faculty researchers who are interested in external research funding from the NIH
